When I go out with my camera, I'm always on the lookout for heart shapes.

I used different aperture settings on each piccie. I like being able to put the differences side by side.

It was such an ugly site, cement cement cement everywhere, but right in the middle here was nature asserting herself.

It's great when you randomly come across grafittied words that aren't offensive!

Scrumptious colour.

I liked peeking through the latticed fence to get this pic and the next one.

Went for a walk and took some piccies on the way. This is the path I was walking on.

Not much to say about this one except that I love what it represents... a door to a secret garden...

More flowers! Would like a macro lens but my little Pentax doesn't do too badly on close ups.

What a cutie! Not the best piccie but he was just passing by and his owner was in a rush so I just had to snap away quickly. I would have loved more time to get a really good picture...

Part three (and last one) of my study of these red/orange flowers.

Not really sure how to make a photo of a bus stop interesting! I like the angle and the shadows though.

I do just love taking piccies of flowers. Loving the horizon in the background.

Someone had very kindly written Corfu in stones ready for me to take a picture of ;-). I wanted my shadow in the picture though I wish I'd put my bag down so that it was a better silhouette. Another one to try again on a different day!

I like the idea of this photo (the abandoned flip flop in the foreground with the beach scenery) rather than the actual result: a really boring photo.
I've put it here though to remind me to try the scene again (an abandoned object in the foreground of nice scenery), and see if I can't get a much better result next time.

Here's the second croc photo. I like the positioning of the person in the background. I think it's important to have fun when taking piccies, and not get too serious. This is definitely and example of that!

I've posted two pictures of this guy as I couldn't decide which I liked better!
In this one, I like that he is head on to the camera, (though I can't decide if it would look better with the people in the background or without) but in the next one, I like the skewed horizon.
Whichever, they both made me laugh a lot!Pentax K100D

I love this piccie; not only the framing but also the silvery effect I produced on PS.
I'm finding the varied manipulation techniques of PS quite amazing, though the version I have is very old and belongs with the dinosaurs... sigh.. something else for my wish list. Pentax K100D

I wasn't very happy with this photograph, mainly for chopping off part of the deckchairs and for having too much sky, so I used it to go a bit mad with PS. I like the crazy colour.

I played around in PS to put a frame around the picture so it looked more like a postcard.
I loved this guy, up and down the beach he went all day selling the best doughnuts. Had to capture him.I don't think my pictures are as clear and as bright as they could be, certainly this one isn't, but I think that's down to a crappy lens. Can't wait to upgrade someday.Pentax K100D

I was actually just playing around with the camera whilst studying my photography book when I took this shot, but I really like the accidental result!
I'm finding that a lot - taking accidental pictures that aren't in the least bit planned but come out great!

I love taking photographs that feature a bright blue sky.
As a photography student I am always told 'find a different angle!' So this is my 'from-the-ground-up' angle. The plant pots are what make the balcony much more interesting but I could have happily chopped down the bush in the foreground.

This time, I made the photo half black and white and half colour! I really like the result.
It wanted to capture a typical street shot of where I was staying in Corfu, right next to a main road where people took their life in their hands walking along as there were no pavements.

Ah, my gorgeous boy. I must have about a million pictures of him now. I like this one as he's keeping an eye on what I'm up to.
I experimented with Photoshop to turn the original colour picture into a black and white one. I like the result. I also like the framing of the picture and the blur/focus effect again.
